1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Shotra ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Shotra is an AI-powered video generation platform that allows users to create short videos from images and text prompts using third-party AI models. The Service is provided on a credit-based system: users purchase credits and spend them to generate videos. No subscription is required.

3. Accounts and Credits

To use the Service, you must create an account and maintain accurate account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Credits are purchased through our payment processor (Stripe) and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts. Shotra reserves the right to adjust credit pricing at any time, with changes applying only to future purchases.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory.
• Create non-consensual intimate imagery or content that sexually exploits minors.
• Produce content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in a manner that places undue load on our infrastructure.
• Circumvent any security or access controls of the Service.

Shotra reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of any images or text you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant Shotra a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Generated videos: Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable credits, you own the videos generated from your inputs. You are solely responsible for ensuring your inputs do not infringe on third-party rights.

Shotra IP: The Shotra name, logo, website design, and underlying technology remain the exclusive property of Shotra and its licensors.

6. Third-Party AI Models

The Service relies on third-party AI model providers to generate videos. The quality, availability, and output of these models may vary. Shotra does not guarantee specific output quality and is not responsible for the content produced by third-party models beyond what is described in these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Shotra does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shotra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if Shotra has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Shotra's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Shotra in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction.
